The Butterfly ⋒ HEMOSTATIC steam/bath blend
⋒ The butterfly knows the wisdom of the chrysalis, to rest and wait, to take time. In the Chrysalis, the cocoon, the processing of experience and food happens, as well as growth and change. The butterflies delicate wings get tossed about on their journey looking for a flower to rest on, to sip life-juice from, so the journey can continue. When there is chronic exhaustion the uterine arteries may struggle to close leading to spotting or excess bleeding. This blend gives us extra support by taking its plant intelligence to the blood (and its containers, blood vessels/veins/arteries) and signals them to calm the flow, to rest, to close . This is our hemostatic blend for when we need to stop the bleeding.

⋒ The Butterfly is a formula for the steamer who needs a gentle and light approach to steaming. This is the person who “burns the candle at both ends”, who is working so hard, and continues to push through because all the things must be done. This exhausted person is like the Monarch butterfly with thin and battered wings, against all odds, flying many miles. Like the butterfly that gets tossed around by every breeze blowing by, the sensitive user reacts easily to allergens, foods, medications, heat and cold etc…
⋒ This blend is for short cycles and long periods. People who start bleeding before cycle day 28, have longer than four-day periods or bleed two or more times per month. (Please email for a consultation to get on the right steam plan with these bleeding patterns.) This blend is for those who have spotting at any time in the cycle.
